Norfolk State University freshman kicker Noah Tracey was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Rookie Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Tracey, a native of Springwood, Australia, punted the ball five times on Saturday against Temple for 194 yards, with one punt inside the 20-yard line. He recorded a 50-yard boot and averaged 38.8 yards per punt in NSU’s loss to the Owls.
Norfolk State returns to action on Saturday and concludes its three-game road trip at Towson. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. from Johnny Unitas Field and will be streamed live on FloSports.
